Garden to Glass Wine Series: Terroir Trek - Italy
Course Description
Immerse yourself in the wine regions of Italy. With a guided, sensory journey, use a collection of Mediterranean herbs, olives, dried fruits, florals, and other aromas to deepen your understanding of how terroir influences this region's wine. Identify regional characteristics and connect wine aromas and flavors to their geographic origins. Students must be able to walk across the street from the classroom to Nino Salvaggio Market. Wine tasting and light refreshments provided. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Bring a driver's license or Michigan ID.
