Garden To Glass Wine Series: Sparkling Wines

Course Description

Dried fruits, fresh bread, nuts, and caramel create a bridge between familiar scents and sparkling wines. Let ingredients guide your senses as you explore champagne, prosecco, tawny port, and more. Begin with a visit to Niño Salvaggio's produce market to explore aroma-driven ingredients, then return to the classroom to taste, compare, and discuss the connection between fresh product and wine. Must be able to walk across the street from classroom to Nino Salvaggio Market. Wine tasting and light refreshments provided. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Bring a driver's license or Michigan ID.
