Course Description

Why do some red wines feel silky while others feel bold and gripping? Explore how tannin, acidity, body, alcohol, and oak shape the structure of red wine. You will learn how climate influences style, why certain reds age well, and how food dramatically changes the tasting experience. Learn how to pair red wines with favorite holiday dishes. Wine tasting and light refreshments provided. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Bring a driver's license or Michigan ID.
