We enable personal enrichment and professional development.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of key electric vehicle (EV) powertrain components, including motors, inverters, DC-DC converters, and onboard chargers. Students will explore the principles of electromagnetism, motor types and diagnostics, and inverter control through pulse width modulation and switching devices. The course also covers thermal management, safety protocols, and diagnostic tools used in high-voltage systems. Special attention is given to bidirectional power flow and grid integration, including V2X technologies and IEEE safety standards.
