Adult Judo-Throwing Techniques

Course Description

Discover the art of Judo, a dynamic Japanese martial art focused on throws, pins, and self-defense techniques. This course emphasizes discipline, respect, and physical fitness through hands-on practice as it focuses on life skills: respect, self-control, balance, memory, fitness, mutual welfare and benefit. Curriculum includes drills, falling, pins, throws, striking and games. Judo Throwing takes place standing, using explosive upper body control to throw your opponent on their back. No prior experience required-just a willingness to learn and engage! For Adults Ages 16+. Uniforms mandatory. Class location is 16735 Ridge Rd, Northville, MI 48168.
