Adult Judo-Grappling Techniques

Course Description

Discover the art of Judo, a dynamic Japanese martial art focused on throws, pins, and self-defense techniques. This course emphasizes discipline, respect, and physical fitness through hands-on practice as it focuses on life skills: respect, self-control, balance, memory, fitness, mutual welfare and benefit. Curriculum includes drills, falling, pins, throws, striking and games. Judo Grappling takes place on the ground, focusing on ground-based control - pinning your opponent while maneuvering around them for a submission. No prior experience required-just a willingness to learn and engage! For Adults Ages 16+. Uniforms mandatory. Class location is 16735 Ridge Rd, Northville, MI 48168.
