Stay Armed, Stay Safe: Defensive Handgun Retention

Course Description

Empower yourself with the skills to prevent anyone from disarming you. Learn how to cover situational awareness, proper holster use, and physical techniques to retain control of the handgun under stress. Through lecture and hands-on drills, students learn defensive tactics including: body positioning, leverage and striking techniques, and disengagement. All instructors are state certified law enforcement trainers. Wear athletic clothes and shoes, tie back long hair, and bring a water bottle. It is recommended, though not required, that students possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL).
