Wings of Change: Women Airforce Service Pilots

Course Description

Meet the trailblazing women who took to the skies during World War II, long before the military was ready to recognize them as equals. Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) made history by becoming the first women to fly American military aircrafts, logging over 60 million miles in every type of plane. Explore their day-to-day realities and the foundation they created for future generations of female pilots. Doors open at 11:15am. Full, buffet lunch served including vegetarian and gluten free options, followed by 1-hour lecture. All proceeds support student scholarships.
