CES-7620

Film Screening: 1969: Killers, Freaks & Radicals

Course Description

Amid the political and cultural upheaval of the late 1960s, a series of murders targeting young women terrorized the twin university towns of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. Frustrations mounted as local police seemed unable to stop the killer. This true crime documentary by Andrew Templeton will explore the social atmosphere of the area in a divisive period that reflects many social issues we see today. A Q&A with the Director will take place at the film's conclusion.
