Course Description
Built in 1949 and nestled in the Detroit suburbs, lies scenic Hines Drive, a 17-mile road with a rich history. Join Nancy Darga, a Hines Park historian, as she shares stories and photographs from the park's past. Explore the story of the land, how the parkway was developed, the ways the park has been used throughout the years, and why preserving this corridor is so important. Light refreshments will be served.
