Course Description
What is it like to live and work on a remote lighthouse? Many of Michigan's sentinels are located far from civilization, built on islands and offshore reefs. With a focus on five offshore lights, maritime historian and speaker, Ric Mixter, will explore the great lakes' most remote lighthouses and share stories from the men who were stationed there. Doors open at 11:15am. Full, buffet lunch served including vegetarian and gluten free options. All proceeds support student scholarships.
