Course Description
When Ste. Claire and SS Columbia sounded their whistles, every Detroit kid knew it heralded the coming of summer and the magic of ferrying over to Boblo Island Amusement Park. Eighty-five years later, the oldest steamships in America have found a team of enthusiasts to rescue them from their deteriorating state. The presentation includes a documentary film followed by a Q&A with the director.
