Needlepoint Basics: Continental Stitch

Course Description

Learn the fundamentals of needlepoint through a hands-on introduction to the continental stitch. Explore canvas sizes, thread selection, and essential techniques, including how to start and end threads. Complete a canvas using the continental stitch and finish it as a decorative ornament with new knowledge to continue with future needlepoint projects. Please bring: a 13 mesh canvas approximately the size of a holiday ornament and embroidery floss. A needle should come with the canvas. If it does not an embroidery needle is also required.
