CES-3911Artistic Welding Intensive: One-Week Welding & Sculpture Course
Course Description
Discover the art of metal sculpture as you learn basic welding and metalworking skills, including MIG and stick welding, riveting, tapping and dying, grinding, and safe equipment use. Explore design and composition, practice evaluating your work, and use a variety of shop tools to create sculptures. Lectures, demonstrations, and guided studio practice will deepen your understanding of this unique and expressive creative process. For safety reasons, wear closed-toe shoes, a 100 percent cotton or natural fiber long-sleeved shirt and long pants. No synthetic clothing.
