Dance Photography: Capturing Movement & Emotion
Course Description
Explore both the technical skills required to photograph dance performances and the creative approaches that bring dance images to life. In addition to lecture, students will have the opportunity to photograph a live dancer in our studio and at an off-site location. Practice correct timing, wardrobe, and posing. Prerequisites: CES 3697, CES 3918, or equivalent experience with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Requirement: bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera to class. Student should bring a lunch as lunch time is limited (lunch not included in the CEU total). Elective for Certificate of Photography.
