Course Description

Gain the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to start birdwatching and deepen your understanding of the fascinating world of birds. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your birding skills, this class covers everything from bird biology to observation techniques. This is a perfect way to develop a deeper appreciation of birds and enhance your skills for observing and identifying local bird species. The first two classes will be held at Schoolcraft. The last class will be an offsite field trip. Requirement: students will need a pair of binoculars.
