CES2-9107Parent & Tot Swim 2: Ages 18 Months - 3 Years
Course Description
Register in child's name. Introductions to the pool with a parent or guardian in the water. Students will work on building confidence in the pool while learning skills like floating, going under water with assistance and safely climbing in and out. Parent water participation is required. Bring your own swimsuit, towel and lock. Children must wear a swim diaper. Skills to be learned: .Safely enter pool .Wait for cue to enter pool each time .Complete a safe entry (slide in on stomach) with assistance .Float on back with head on shoulder or in water .Float on front with parents, .Blow bubbles in the water .Kick on front with parents .Reach for toys on top of water as well as under the surface .Put face in the water .Practice climbing out on the side of the pool with assistance .Learn the 1,2,3, go cue for going under water and jumping
