At its peak in the 1950s, Downtown Detroit's Woodward Avenue boasted over four million square feet of retail, making it one of America's preferred retail destinations. Take a closer look at home grown icons like Hudson's, Sam's, Woolworth's and more. See why generations made the trek downtown for holiday windows, family luncheons, and other events. Enjoy a Q&A session and opportunity for personal remembrances! Doors open at 11:15am. Full, buffet lunch served including vegetarian and gluten free options. All proceeds support student scholarships.
